The Careers Management Center offers companies, executive search firms, and headhunters an efficient recruitment service, tailored to their individual needs. Attracted by the quality and diversity of our students and graduates and by the flexibility of our services, a large number of recruiters look to IE Business School year after year in their search for top professionals. In 2005, more than 5,500 job offers for students and alumni were handled through the Careers Management Center's job board.
Training and Advisory Service
The Career Management Center helps students to develop the necessary skills required for successfully overcoming the challenges of today's job market.
We also offer information sessions on legal and work-related matters to all present and former students from outside the EU wishing to work in Spain, as well as at least one individual session with a member of the Careers Management Center.
Job Bank
To facilitate your job search, the Careers Management Center has created the IE Job Board, a password-protected web site where companies can advertise vacant positions exclusively to IE students and alumni
TOur job board is now one of the most popular and effective in Spain with over 10,000 regular users. It is made accessible to all students 3 months before graduation and remains open to IE alumni throughout their careers.
In addition to the job board it is worth mentioning that over 1,000 students and alumni visited the Careers Management Center in 2006 and received one-to-one counseling sessions on assessment of job offers, CV and cover letter, career choices, job search techniques and other career related areas.
IE Career Fair
Every year during the first week of October, IE is the venue for the Careers Fair, an event at which leading companies looking to take on qualified personnel and IE's students have an opportunity to make contact.
The Career Fair, covered by the media, is above all a place for making first contact and recruiting candidates with experience in a variety of sectors and functional areas and of huge professional potential.
Club Support
The Careers Management Center supports students' clubs by fostering contact between companies and the student representatives of the clubs. If you want a specific company to be part of the events organized by the Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Eastern European clubs..., please do not hesitate to contact us.
Company Presentations
The Careers Management Center organizes presentations by leading firms, aimed at catering for the needs of both students and recruiters. Thus, students and firms can establish professional relations that actively promote mutual knowledge and understanding, and possibly the initiation of a selection process. The presentations are co-coordinated by the Careers Management Center. Students must register and present any documents that the companies might require (normally a CV).
CV Book
The Careers Management Center offers all students of the Master in Finance the opportunity to add their CV to the online CV book. This online CV book is used by recruiters to search for candidates in terms of languages, experience, education and nationality. This is the preferred method of hiring of many companies. In the period of June-December we distribute yearbook to all our contacts in major international business organizations, including both recruiters and former alumni who want to disseminate the CV book in their organization.
